Policy Layer Enactment: New Terrains of Understanding
A five-year research project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada
Policies are "written" by governments and organizations, but "made" by citizens and professionals on the front line through the process of enactment. In this 5-year project (2015-2020), researchers from 3 Ontario universities are exploring how policies are enacted in schools across the province. We hope that our research will reveal features for better policy design, while engaging individuals to consider how each of us makes policy in our everyday lives.
